This weekend started off on a “Magical” foot, with an Orlando Magic basketball game! Brett’s parents came up for the weekend so that we could celebrate his father’s birthday! He really wanted to see a Magic game, so we took him out to one against the Houston Rockets, on Friday night. None of us have been to the new arena yet, and we all had a great time!
When we got home, we were still hyped up from the big win, that we stayed up watching some college football, until we got hungry for pizza! It was about 1 am before we all hit the hay and called it a night!
In the morning we all woke up and decided to go to the gym together, since we knew were having a big dinner! We went for a little while, and then I took Winston for a little walk around the neighborhood before we headed out to lunch at Ale House.
Our next stop was the outlets, cause Danny and Debi needed to get a few things, and I tried my hardest to not splurge on a pair of shoes I found at Rack Room! I resisted my urge to make a shoe purchase, and got one of these instead!
The girls needed something sweet as an afternoon snack, so Debi got an ice cream cone at Haagen-Dazs while I was at Starbucks. It hit the spot!
After the outlets, we headed home to cook dinner. We were cooking a mock Thanksgiving dinner in honor of Danny’s birthday and had to get the turkey in the oven. We also had Brett’s cousin Lindsey over for dinner since she finally had a night off! We had turkey, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, peas, and cranberry sauce! Just like Thanksgiving!
To end the night, we had a homemade yellow cake with chocolate frosting, Danny’s favorite, to celebrate his Birthday weekend! Another great weekend down, and many more to come! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!!
