Thanksgiving Holiday 2012

This Thanksgiving was one of the best yet! Although it was a little quieter than usual, with just the 5 of us, we still had a blast and had an action packed weekend!

We headed down Wednesday Night, and after getting out of Orlando, the traffic really wasn’t that bad.

We ended up meeting up with some friends that night at the local World of Beer, but didn’t stay too long since we had a big Turkey Day ahead of us.

We woke up bright and early and scoped out the Black Friday ads in the newspaper before preparing the turkey.

After the turkey was stuffed and roasting in the oven, I made the family (those who would participate:) ) take some photos with me.

Me and my brother Will.

Winnie and Will (And Brett in the background again… so busy!)

After a few hours of hanging with the fam, watching football, and having an amazing fantasy football day, it was time to take the turkey out!

Win so tried to get a bite right out of the oven!

Brett’s job is to carve the turkey every year, and we knew it was time to eat soon when he started carving away!

The Table

The table came together nicely and I tried to set up the camera for a group shot, but this was the best I could do:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving dinner is probably my favorite meal ever! I love the combination of turkey, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and string beans all smothered in homemade gravy!

My (first) Plate

I definitely went back for seconds of this goodness! Especially my favorite… the stuffing!

What is your favorite Thanksgiving Dish?

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
