Now that we are home from the Thanksgiving Holiday, it is back to the grind! Catching up at work after a long weekend always makes the days go by fast and I cannot believe that it is Thursday already.
After Thanksgiving, the days just seem like a countdown to Christmas. And then New Years! And for Brett and I, we have so much to look forward to in terms of the House Closing and upcoming Doctor’s appointments.(Boy or Girl? Who wants to know? )
I am catching up with my healthy eating and work out schedule, as it was kind of interruted with such a busy weekend!
Today I was able to head to the gym for a cardio circuit workout. I started off on the spin bike for about 20 minutes and it was great to feel my legs burning and be cycling again! I forgot how much I missed it! Next I hit up the elliptical for another 10 until there was a treadmill free where I finished off my cardio session with 20 more minutes walking on an incline and finishing my book “Savages” by Don Winslow.
For dinner, I made a simple pasta dish with Al Fresco Sweet Italian Style Chicken Sausage sauteed with mushrooms, whole wheat shell pasta, steamed broccoli and top with spaghetti sauce and shredded parmesan cheese.
