This past Friday night, Brett and I decided to head out for the evening to catch a movie and enjoy some time together before our hectic day of meeting with contractors on Saturday.
The movie we chose to see was Killing Them Softly.
I really wasn’t sure what the movie was about, except for the fact that Brad Pitt was in it, which was enough for me I guess! I expected some kind of action packed-thriller with cool effects and Brad Pitt being awesome, of course.
Let’s just say that Brett and I were left dumbfounded sitting in the theater as the credits rolled, wondering “What in the world did we just spend the last 2 hours of our lives watching?” You could see the same expression on others as we all walked silently out of the theater trying to understand what the movie was even about!
Besides the, maybe, way to artsy subliminal messaging that I guess Brett and I just didn’t catch on to, it was extremely slow and very boring, let alone had zero plot.
For once, I think Winston was actually glad to stay home that night.
That being said, the highlight of the night was a goat cheese dip that Brett and I enjoyed at The Pub at Pointe Orlando before the movie.
It was really nice to get out for the night and we hit the hay early so we could meet the contractors the next morning at 7:30am!!
