Showering Baby Rylee

Last weekend my Mom threw me a wonderful baby shower at her home in West Palm Beach. With the help of my good friends everything was set up outside on the patio and was pink and green, which are the colors I plan on making Rylee’s nursery! It was beautiful!

I found these centerpieces on Pinterest and thought they were so unique and sent a picture to my mom, and she loved the idea. She created them beautifully and they became such a focal point of the shower! Even better than what I found online! I wanted to take them home and keep them forever.

The cookie in the image were given out as favors! They were beautiful and delicious!

There were also 2 really unique and special “stations” at the shower that I thought were so thoughtful and creative!

Instead of cards, people were asked in the invitation to bring books for Rylee to start a library. There was a pretty little station set up where people could fill out labels with a message and insert them into the book so we know who gave them.

On the table, my mom placed artwork that was in my room growing up, with pieces of my nursery in it, painted by my Aunt Elaine!

The other station was a headband craft table. Everyone could pick out a special bow and band and glue them together. They were able to filled out little tags with who they were from and were given to me to take home as a collection for Rylee’s wardrobe.

The flowers were so beautiful, and everyone made such great headbands!

Lunch was a collection of all my favorite things, including Chick-fil-a nuggets, turkey sandwiches, Greek salad and a variety of dips and chips. After everyone was full and happy, we played a few games and then it was time for the presents!

I always feel funny being the center of attention while I open gifts in front of others, but this time, my girlfriends had set up a Bingo game so everyone got involved while I opened the gifts, which made it so much fun!

Rylee got so many great things and I had such a blast with everyone! I was so thankful that two of my Aunts were able to make it from New York too!

Dessert was the finishing touch and the girls all brought something to add to the dessert buffet table.

It was such a blast! And Maddie was so good! I can’t wait for her to meet Rylee!

My mom put in so much hard work into making this shower as wonderful as it was! I am so thankful to have her and all of my friends for helping make this shower so special and memorable.
