This week has flown by like no other! There have been a few “Unexpected Happenings” that can contribute to that fact.
Do you want the good news or the bad news first?
Nothing to be worried about, thank goodness, but we’ll start with the bad news. Brett had a bad fall at work on Monday and has been out of commission for the past few days. He is feeling much better, but my poor hubby has been a sleepy pain-medded up mess!
At least he has Win to keep him company!
I had to do something to cheer him up, so I went to the store mid-week to get Brett his dream dinner.
Bacon Cheeseburger with tots and baked beans. It was delicious and Brett was happy, which was the important thing.
For the good news of the week, the girls at the office threw me a surprise Baby Shower Breakfast! It was such a pleasant surprise, they always know how to make someone feel special! I love it!
Breakfast was all set up and ready when I got into the office and we enjoyed bagels, quiche and fresh fruit.
Oh, and these amazing beauties:
Those are hand-made cake pops made by Maggie. They are like works of art, no one wanted to eat them! These are amazing and so thoughtful because green and pink are the colors of Rylee’s nursery and it is Bird themed!
I did end up eating one later that day, and not only are they adorable, they are delicious as well! We keep telling her to go into the cake pop business!
After we ate, the ladies presented me with gifts as well and I got the cutest little ensembles! I am so thankful to work with such a wonderful group of people!
Everyone also got the chance to guess Baby Rylee’s arrival date by signing this Baby Pool poster that our lovely designer, Melo, hand drew for us! Awesome!
I wish I could draw like that!
And then to top it all off, a smaller group of girls presented me with this gorgeous and meaningful bracelete.
They all have one of their own with its own meaning and now I joined the club! The bracelet is really neat and the beads move around so you can set goals throughout the day to achieve. It keeps you motivated and it is beautiful.
And that is why this week has FLOWN by!
Can’t believe tomorrow is Friday and then it’s another week down until baby Rylee arrives!
