Well, my Crossfit experience has come to an end. My 4-week Slim Down Bootcamp Groupon expired last week, and so has my time at High Intensity Crossfit.
I must say that I enjoyed my time there a lot and was never bored with any of the routines. I did find out during my time there, that this particular Crossfit gym offers the Bootcamp classes, which I don’t think are common at all Crossfit locations. So, that being said, I never actually took a full Crossfit class – flipping tires, doing insane amounts of pull-ups, 20lb wall balls or clean and jerks! But I’m not sure if that is what I wanted to do anyways. I wanted to get strong… but not too strong, so the Bootcamp classes were the perfect amount of cardio and toning exercises that really got me noticing a difference in my physique! I loved my experience at High Intensity Crossfit but the Groupon is a one-time only offer, and affording a membership there is just not in the cards at the moment.
The good news is, that four-weeks of the bootcamp was a perfect way for me to get back into a work-out routine and I was able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight! I am definitely feeling more toned and strong than before so I feel great!
Now I am off to my next fitness adventure!
I’m thinking that the West Orange Trail is looking pretty tempting lately!
