Usually with these high repetition routines, I switch back and forth between each exercise. So, I do not actually complete the routine in the order below, I switch around depending on how I feel, both physically and mentally, to get through the routine. For instance, today, I started with triple plank hops, then did my first set of windshield wipers, then mountain climbers, and back to triple plank hops. The rotation varied depending on how many sets I felt like I had left.

Today’s ab routine resulted in the following.

Windshield Wipers

Lay on you back with your arms out wide. Lift your legs straight up and rotate from left to right. I counted each rotation (to left or right) as one. I could really feel these in my sides. Great burn!

  • 1 set of 35
  • 1 set of 30
  • 1 set of 25
  • 1 set of 10

Triple Plank Hops – Ahh! They’re back! They seemed easier today though. I think I am getting stronger!

  • 2 sets of 20 back to back
  • 1 set of 15
  • 2 sets of 20 back to back
  • 1 set of 15

Mountain Climbers – I kind of enjoy doing these! :)

  • 1 set of 50
  • 1 set of 40
  • 1 set of 20

Total Workout Time: 21 1/2 minutes.

I am leaving on a jet plane tonight for the entire weekend on a work trip. I am hoping to stay on top of my ab challenge, but may not have time to complete the daily exercises or my posts may be a bit late for each day.

In case you want to continue without me, here are the workouts for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If I cannot get to them on the day of, I’ll write my posts and how my workouts went down once I complete them.
