Are you ready to be a Dirty Girl?
What I mean is, are you ready to test your strength and endurance in an all women’s 5k mud obstacle course!?
I have been wanting to participate in a mud race since I first heard of them, but they always seemed so intimidating to me. Jumping through fire and running through electrical wires just did not seem like the most appealing way to test my strength, speed and agility.
When I came across this Dirty Girl Mud Run, I knew it would be a great first obstacle race for me.
I love the idea of having a race that is just for women. And there is a more fun and laid back atmosphere to this race, with obstacle names such as PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff) and Dirty Dancing. I think it is a great way for me to step out of my comfort zone and try this new kind of race without the pressure of slowing down any veteran obstacle runners out there.
Not only am I excited about testing my physical strength and having fun at the same time, but Dirty Girl is also contributing to Bright Pink, an organization that empowers women to be proactive with their breast and ovarian health.
I will be participating in the Dade City, Florida location race, but they have locations across the country that you can participate in! If you want to join me at this location on November 23, 2013 you can receive 20% off your registration fee. Just click this LINK and register using the code: DGCENTRALFLORIDA
Dirty Girl Mud Run also provides free registration to cancer survivors who would like to participate.
Right now I am running solo, but if you want to join me I would love to start a team! Email me with your information and we can sign up for the same wave!
