This weekend was full of happenings. We were very active and social this weekend and Rylee was a champ at all of our outings.
Friday night, Brett, Rylee and I were invited to the Magic vs. Celtics game, where we watched from one of the awesome Founder’s Suites on the second floor!
The view was great and the food was even better! We enjoyed the BEST caramel, pecan turtles we have ever had!
The next day, the weather was gorgeous again, so the family saddled up to hit the West Orange Trail. But not before I snapped a picture of Rylee sitting up on her own! (Well, with the help of the boppy pillow.)
The walk into Downtown Winter Garden is such a perfect length. Total it is about 2.5 miles there and back, so it isn’t too far. It’s the perfect way to start the morning before grabbing a cup of coffee at our favorite coffee shop.
Which I finally remembered to take a picture of this time!
Not only is the coffee here delicious, but it is a non-for-profit business and after all expenses are paid for, their profits go to helping communities in Africa get access to food and clean water. So not only does the coffee make you feel good, but the purchase of it does too!
After enjoying our coffee in our new favorite spot, on the swings by the Winter Garden Fountain int he center of town, we had a chance to visit the farmer’s market. We normally walk through to see all of the vendors and they are usually the same every week, but we came across a new vendor that caught my eye.
TOYOU bars. They are manufactured right in the next town over from us, Oakland, and are made from all natural ingredients. (Which I am really starting to look into now, post to come.) There were samples laid out for pre and post workout mixes which I thought was interesting, so I definitely had to try them out. They were so good! The pre-workout mix had dark chocolate covered espresso beans, along with other ingredients, and the post-workout bar’s main ingredient was spinach and mint. It was delicious, so I decided to get me 2 of those guys!
After speaking to the women at the tent, she told us that she is planning to be at the farmer’s market every week, so I am looking forward to trying more flavors! There were so many unique ones.
Saturday night was a huge night for the UCF Knight’s Football Team. Homecoming week!
I love the last picture of Rylee from the above where she is trying to grab the camera out of my hands to play with it. Grabbing is her new thing now.
We posted up at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game and it was so exciting to see our team on the big screen at the bar! (That is not a common occurrence for us Knights!) It was a nail-biting game, but thankfully we won and are moving up in the rankings! We are so proud of our team!
Well that was our action packed weekend, how about you? Anything exciting to share about your weekend? Let me know in the comments section below! Thanks!
