Disney Movie Club

Since the moment I became pregnant, I immediately thought to myself, “How am I going to start a library of my favorite Disney movies for Rylee to watch as she grows up?!” I could not imagine a childhood without those classic Disney favorites, like The Little Mermaid & Beauty & The Beast, especially!

I have not bought a Disney DVD in years, in fact – I never have! All my Disney movies are on VHS. And we don’t even own a VHS player anymore!

Anyways, moving on… when I got this letter in the mail to join the Disney Movie Club, I had a good feeling about it and decided to look into it further, instead of throwing it away in the “junk mail” pile.

After talking to a few of my Disney lover friends, they all raved about the program and I was instantly ready to sign up. The initial membership offer was just too awesome to turn down, too! When you sign up online, you get to pick out 5 DVDs for 99 cents each!

I picked out a few of our favorites and some new movies that looked really good. I can’t wait to watch them and share those moments with little Ryles.

Among my selections were:

  • Pocahontas – 2 DVD special with Pocahontas II – which I have never seen
  • Dumbo
  • The Princess and the Frog
  • Tangled
  • Brave
  • Bolt (Bonus movie at a discounted price!)
  • The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Additional bonus movie at a discounted price!!)

There is one catch that you should be aware of. When you sign up to become a member, you commit to buying 4 movies within 2 years – not even that bad. But every month they will send you an email and a letter showing you the featured movie of the month. If you do not want to purchase this movie, you must reply declining the offer by a certain date or else they will automatically charge your card and send you the featured movie. But as long as you keep up with it, it really is a great program and you only end up getting the movies that you really want!

On my list next is The Little Mermaid and Cinderella. I’m so excited! And it isn’t only kiddy movies, they have a whole section on the site for “Grown-Up Hits ” like Pirates of the Caribbean and The Avengers.

Rylee and I already watched Pocahontas and it brought back so many memories.

There are always great sales and offers being emailed to me for being a member and it makes purchasing DVD’s very affordable. I am so glad that I signed up and am able to build a library of great movies for Rylee to watch as she grows up!

If you are interested in becoming a member, please leave a comment below with your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address and I can send you an email with a great initial membership offer! Don’t worry, your email addresses won’t become publicly posted, but your lives will soon become more magical!

I love it! And especially because I want to build a library for my little one so she can experience them, too! And by the way, the quality of the blue-ray movies make them even more enjoyable for me when I watch them again now as an adult!
