Well, it’s official. My Squeaky Sneakers is now a self-hosted blog! That was one of my 2014 Blogging Goals, and I did not think it was going to happen so soon!
Most of you probably didn’t even noticed the change. In fact, I hardly even knew either!
With the wonderful help of Spencer from ToastedLime, the transition to becoming self hosted was seamless. He was so helpful throughout the entire experience and explained everything to me so that I could understand it. And he was so patient with all of my questions throughout the whole process! I am really happy with everything so far!
Important Note to Followers: One thing that I must mention to those who follow me through WordPress.com is that you might not receive email notifications of new posts, so if you would still like to continue following me, please subscribe via email in the bar to the right, or through your WordPress reader.
For those who are already email subscribers, you should still receive those notifications.
And, although my site doesn’t look too different yet, now that I am self-hosted, I can do all kinds of things to customize my blog that way I want it! Do you notice the social network buttons to the top right? Just one of the awesome new features I am able to provide now!
And I’m so excited about all of the great interactive tools I am able to use in my posts, now. Like the video I embedded in my last post about The Color Run!
And there is so much more that I don’t even know about yet, so I am very excited about the possibilities and to learn more about blogging!
This Morning’s Events
This morning has already been an eventful one. The little one and I have been running around and playing all day. When she went down for a nap I cooked breakfast, cleaned and blogged!
I started the day off with a delicious turkey bacon, mushroom, tomato, broccoli and cheese omelet.
I used 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg.
And enjoyed some fresh orange juice along side!
Now I gotta go get myself and Rylee ready for our first Mommy & Me class at the Gymboree!
