This weekend was the start of what felt like a Florida Spring, which actually feels like summer.
It was a beautiful day to spend outside at the pool or the splash pad, it got really hot!
Every Spring, Winter Garden hosts a big Spring Fling event where all kinds of vendors come out to sell garden artwork and all kinds of plants and trees.
We love to walk around and look at all of the possibilities of plants for our future garden at home! We have yet to start one, but are really looking forward to some day. And will definitely be splurging at this event once we decide to, because the deals are amazing! Maybe we will start a garden when Rylee is old enough to help us with taking care of it!
Saturday morning we headed out to check out the scene and walk through the farmer’s market as well to get our favorite fresh squeezed lemonade.
The one thing I could just sit and watch forever at the festival, are the amazing sidewalk chalk artists that come out every year and create masterpieces on the side walk in honor of Spring.
It was getting pretty hot in the afternoon, and we walked into town on Saturday, so we had to get the kiddos home.
Poor Winston was so hot and tired, we had to stroll him home in the bottom of the stroller!
The next morning, I had the chance to go out for a morning run, and I took it!
I was so excited to run into town to take a glimpse at the calm before the storm because the Spring Fling event started at 11am on Sunday as well.
I was more excited to check out the finished sidewalk art from the day before, though. I didn’t even care about my run time/pace when I stopped to admire the completed artwork. It was so amazing!
I do not know how they do it! Can you believe that those drawing are made with chalk? All of them were so beautiful and just amazing to look at!
I ended up having an amazing run and was ready to start the day!
We headed out to run some errands and have lunch at our favorite place. Chipotle! I enjoyed a burrito bowl with carnitas and all the fixin’s.
We also headed back to the Spring Fling event to enjoy the Spring weather.
I absolutely LOVE these fruit pouches that I received from Perrigo Nutritionals for Rylee! When we are out and about on the go, we can just give one to her and she can feed herself!
Plus she just loves them and usually sucks them up in just a few gulps!
We also got Winston a hair cut on Sunday, now that the warmer weather is coming.
He really needed it!
Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend enjoying the Spring weather!
