This past weekend was a long and eventful one with lots of celebrations and a ton of fun!
We started off the weekend early, on Thursday night, and headed to Tampa to drop off the little one and celebrate our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary — like the good ‘ol days!
At a New Found Glory concert!
We found out last minute that they were playing in Tampa the night of our anniversary. We were already scheduled to be in town for one of Brett’s best friends from high school’s wedding and knew it was fate that we ended up there.
We felt like we were 19 again walking up to the Orpheum, an intimate dive bar venue, to see a band from our youth rock out just like they used to!
We even ran into an old college friend and his wife at the concert who live in Tampa now!
It was a great surprise!
The next day we headed off for an afternoon wedding at the Tampa Bay Watch to celebrate the marriage of Brandon and his lovely bride Jessica.
The venue was beautiful! And for an avid fisherman like Brandon, it was the perfect place!
He and his groomsmen even rode up to the venue on a boat as their grand entrance! It was definitely a great fit for him!
It was a beautiful, although hot, day for a wedding, but it was worth it for the pictures, cause came out so lovely!
For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ feast — with a pig roasted on-site right outside the venue — as the wedding speeches and dances continued on inside.
The rest of the night was a mix of dancing, playing cornhole on the balcony and mingling with family and friends until the sun went down.
The festivities did not stop there and we continued the fun in Palm Harbor where we enjoyed family time during the day and a music festival in the evening.
Rylee was acting all kinds of silly that day!
She kept wanting to wear my sunglasses and so we all started calling her “Hollywood.” Then she kept coming up to all of our faces and giving gnome kisses while we all said “Heyyy Hollywood!” She loved it!
The weather at the festival was gorgeous and we all enjoyed listening to music while, once again, silly Rylee was on the loose!
We left early Sunday morning and headed off to our final event of the weekend, our good friend Maddie’s 2nd birthday!
Rylee enjoyed pizza, Minnie Mouse toys & treats and some playtime in the splash pad.
And even some coloring in the shade after splashing around in the fountains.
It was such a lovely party and Fabiana always does such a wonderful job planning and coordinating a theme! Love the Minnie Mouse theme! And it seems like the girlies did, too!
Happy Birthday, Madeleine!
