Spring is in the air (at least here in Florida) and I can’t wait to get outside to enjoy it!
It’s time to get up, get out and get active. If you are ready to go just like us, there are so many fun things we can do outside to stay active and enjoy the coming of Spring weather!
Like bringing the family together for a cookout at the park.
We recently went to A.L. Anderson Park over in Palm Harbor to enjoy the day and eat breakfast while the kids played on the playground. It was just so nice to spend time with the family outside.
You can partner up with a friend and hit the trail instead of the gym.
On one of my recent trips back home to West Palm Beach, Loreyn and I went to a great park called Okeeheelee Park and they have a 1 mile trail with 20 stations featuring different exercises and stretches. We were so sore afterwards but it just felt like a nice day at the park with good company!
Instead of driving out to lunch over the weekend, take a bike ride with the family.
I cannot wait to try out this baby that I got for my birthday this year!
Rylee is going to LOVE this! And now we can all go out on our bikes together! We are so lucky to be walking/riding distance from our little downtown area to visit the farmers market, shops and restaurants.
If your not so close to an area where you can ride to, try picking a place for lunch with a nice outdoor area and go for a walk before or after to get a little exercise in while you window shop. 😉
So let’s all start planning ways to get outside and get active now that Spring is in the air! And don’t forget to set your clocks forward this Sunday for Daylight Savings time!
