A Weekend in the Sun

This past weekend was pretty much spent outside. Just what I wanted to do and it was perfect!

We started our Saturday morning off by setting up Rylee’s new bike trailer and hit the trail heading for the Saturday morning farmer’s market.

On our way into town, we had to check out the new Plant Street Market that is being built. It is so awesome!

I cannot wait to have a local market like this in our neighborhood!

Along with local vendors selling fresh goods like meats and gourmet butters, it looks like there is a brewery coming to the market as well!

So exciting! I can’t wait for it to open later this year!

Walking the farmers market was a blast and Rylee really enjoyed the live Reggae music. I took a video that I have to share with you!

There were tons of vendors at the market and we enjoyed walking around with Rylee and exploring. We came across The Pretzel Spot and pretty much wanted to buy up the whole tent! I wish I took a picture of her set up because the pretzels were like little perfect works of art and looked so yummy.

We could not pass up the Pretzel Bark and a chocolate covered Oreo (devoured by Brett.)

It was pretzels combined by creamy caramel and covered in milk and dark chocolate.

So addicting!

On Sunday, we decided to breakout the pool for Rylee to splash in.

We ended up moving the slide into the pool so when she went down she went right into the water. She loved it!

She didn’t want to come out she loved it so much!

Eventually, I had to bring her inside for a bubbly bath because she was shivering! The water was pretty chilly even though it was pretty hot out.

My brother even came over to hang with us outside and Rylee loved calling him “Uncle!” It was a great day!

Did you make it outside this weekend? What did you do?
