I hope everyone is having a marvelous hump-day! We are half-way through the week! And I have found the cure to my morning craving for delicious, caffeinated coffee and my need for that muscle-building protein first thing in the morning that I have to share with you today!
It’s a combination of the two in this super easy, zero prep protein smoothie. I get my coffee fix that I need to get going and my dose of protein in the morning without any added sugar or cream. You don’t need it!
This is literally all you need:
- Chocolate Protein Powder (I used Muscle Milk. It’s my favorite and tastes so good even by itself)
- Blender, Magic Bullet or similar
I brew the coffee in my Keurig while I am getting ready for work, then throw it in the freezer while I get Rylee ready, to cool it down.
Once I am ready to run out the door, I throw a scoop of protein powder into the Magic Bullet, add the cooled down coffee and a bunch of ice. Then blend until smooth.

I feel like I am drinking a Mocha Frappuccino, but feel so much better about it cause of the 15 grams of protein that are along with it!
I just found my new morning treat and I am loving it!
