5 Favorite Finds for August

Hello! Happy September!

I found there are a few things this past month that I wanted to share with you all and because they are completely random, I thought the best thing to do was compile them into a blog post list so you can experience and discover the amazing, cute and surprising finds from August as well!

Aldi

First, I have to give props to Aldi.

Aldi

This place has seriously stepped up its game! They offer really affordable groceries that even include fresh and organic products and produce. And they have recently just added a line of baby products to include diapers, formula, pouches and Gerber baby food!

We’ve been shopping here regularly for the past few weeks and I have to say I am extremely happy with the quality of the products and the savings! Yes, you have to pay a quarter to rent a cart and bring your own bags, but it keeps the costs low. And hey, you’re saving the environment in the process and getting in a few extra steps in when you have to go back and return your cart. It’s a win win!

I am so glad we gave this place a shot and it’s definitely become our go-to for the majority of our weekly grocery shops.

Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara

I love the long lash look and I feel like I have tried just about every kind of mascara to get it to work for me. From the expensive high-end brands like Givenchy and specialty two-step lash enhancers to beauty counter brands at Macy’s, I’ve always gone back to the Drugstore Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara. It just works great on me! And it’s way cheaper than those other brands!

Songs with Saxophone

For some reason, I have been finding that songs with saxophone in them get me pumped up! Ok, not the classical instrumental saxophone type songs, but techno/housy songs with saxophones. Like this one by Naxxos called New Orleans. So good!

Disney Princess Site

I came across this amazing site when my daughter asked me to read her a bed time story. I wanted her to know the story of Beauty and the Beast so bad since it was my favorite Disney movie growing up, so I decided to tell her the story completely improve. I knew I was forgetting some details so when I googled “beauty and the beast story” the Disney Princess Site was the first site that popped up. It is an official Disney website dedicated to our beloved princesses!

This site not only gives you the story to read to your little ones, but there is also an audio version as well so you can play it for your little ones with cute little background sounds.

http://princess.disney.com/And each princess has their own story! I saved the website to my homescreen on my phone so I can access it easily and play it for Ry in the car pretty much on repeat. She loves to listen to it and now she’s loves Belle just as much as I do!

This Mug

Blogging Day Mug - Great gift for a blogger

My good friend Maggie from work knows how much I have been wanting to spend more time blogging and it just so happened that on the same day as my first post back on the blog in a while, this amazingly adorable mug was waiting for me at my desk as a gift. Maggie is literally the best gift giver we know, she’s so good at it! I love it and keep this baby on my desk at home for blogging day! And pretty much everything from Naturallife.com is super cute, that’s the website listed on the bottom of the mug. I love it!
