Getting married was one of the best and most memorable days of my life. I could not have asked for a better celebration! Yes, wedding planning can be very consuming and stressful, but all I can remember about my wedding day was how happy we both were, surrounded by so many loving family members and friends, and being able to marry my best friend!
To anyone out there who is planning a wedding, my one piece of advice that I have learned from experience, is to not let all of the little details of a wedding take away from the true meaning and importance of such a special day. You only have one wedding day, and stressing over the little things just isn’t worth it. On the day of my wedding, no flowers or seating cards or menus were on my mind, all I wanted was to be with Brett for the rest of my life, and all those little details I was so worried about didn’t even cross my mind.
So enjoy the planning process, and remember, this is one of the most special days of your life and what’s important is the man (or woman) standing in front of you and the promise that you are making to one another.
Here are some of the posts I wrote about my wedding day, hope you enjoy!
